I posted last week about dress shopping w/ SS and if it would be weird or as a BM would you be ok w/ it.

Well. BM loved the idea! She was excited about it and happy I would consider it. The night was a blast! SS1 was very interested in helping and was hilarious and adorable the entire time. In the end it worked out that we both liked "the dress" the best.

BM and I chatted a little via text that night and then again when I was picking up SS's. Y'all.....she had the nicest things to say about me and it felt great. Things like she is lucky to have me as their "other mom" and couldn't have hand picked aanyone better. It was really, really sweet.

We haven't had a bad relationship up to this point or anything. Sure, parenting choices a different at each house. Things are gonna frustrate FI and BM about the other as expected. I'm not saying we will have the perfect BF or anything. But now, more than ever I feel like it could be
