upper back pain after c section

I have had two c sections and am pregnant with my third. After the first two c sections I had pain on my upper spine between my shoulder blades that lasted weeks/months.  I have come to the conclusion that it was from being moved around on the table and it was just really deep bruising.  It felt EXACTLY the same both times.  I really want to avoid this the third time.  Anyone else experience this?  I am wondering if I should see if there is something they can do to avoid it again!

That's interesting and gives me something to think about because I also have back pain just as you described. LO was delivered almost 6 months ago, and I'm still feeling it there. By the end of the day, it can be quite painful.

I actually read something on the bump yesterday that said you could have gas pains in your shoulder blades after a section.

I had it too and was told it wad trapped gas. Very painful, and it lasted months. Good luck.
