Just needing to vent here

I just need to vent here. So my daughter is now 5 weeks old and things are going pretty good. Except for my husband. He was great the first few weeks after she was born. He would do laundry, cook, clean but now its awful. Hes hardly ever home. He has maybe changed 5 diapers and hardly ever feeds her. I get up at night every time while he gets sleep every night. I ask for his help and beg him to just simply hold her so I can get a break. He claims that since he works he shouldn't have to take care of her. That's my job since I currently am not working. So today he tells me he will hire a baby sitter to help me out. This infuriated me. He wants to hire a baby sitter but he can't do it? She is his child too! When we go to visit family he acts like the perfect dad. He'll change her and feed her, but the second we get back home it's a total 180.I love him to death but I just need some help and a break every now and then. I've tried talking to him telling him I need help. He thinks its so easy. I want to just leave her with him for a day so he can get a taste of what it's really like but honestly I don't trust him alone with her. Ok vent over.
