sleep training when sick

Okay, so you're not supposed to sleep train while baby is sick, but what does that mean when you're in midsleep training?
We've been sleep training for the past 4 nights full extinction CIO and it has been going great, but now she seems to have a bit of a cough. Does that mean we ruin all progress we've made and stop until she's better?
A little background: our number one problem was that she couldn't fall asleep without a bottle in her mouth. I would hate to start giving her the bottle again to fall asleep but I would also hate to ignore the cough and continue letting her cry if she's sick.
Any advice?

Personally I would stop the sleep training because she could be crying because she isn't feeling well or needs a little more attention. My DS needed a bottle to go to sleep as well. We finally just stopped giving it to him. We would hold him and rock and

The rule is not to START sleep training while sick. But, if it's already been four days, especially with the extinction method, she should have it down. Start the night like you always do and if she cries longer than usual or it's obvious that she's strug

I guess it would depend on how sick she is. I, personally, would not sleep train if my LO was really not feeling well. Their crying could be for totally different reasons.
