Moms of boys- CDs when circumcised?

If your DS was circumcised were you able to start cloth right away, or was it easier to use sposies?  Please forgive my ignorance, what was the reason ? This is our first boy and first shot at newborn CD.  I heard recently you had to use sposies at first and it didn't make sense to me, so I turn to the experts:) if it matters, I was planning to use fitteds or prefolds at that stage.

This is my first boy, and we're planning on using disposable liners in our CDs until the circumcision heals.

We used vaseline covered with a gauze square and then I folded a disposable liner in half and put that in that area in the diaper. Worked great and he was healed in a week so we didn't have to do it very long.

We used cloth (Kissaluvs fitted) and gave the nurse a liner to use afterward, but she didn't use it The diaper had blood and vaseline on it (and meconium).  I

Thanks everyone!  Great tips.  I already have liners for DD, so we will try that.  We will probably do sposies in the hospital anyhow, so it would be a short time hopefully.

We used sposies for about a week because I was paranoid about ruining my diapers with Vaseline. In hindsight, I think it would've been fine to start with cloth and disposable liners.
