N has mostly taken only a few mins to fall asleep. Since daylight savings we still put her down around 6:30 (a tad earlier if long day or such) but she's been happily chatting to herself 10-30 mins every night. She's happy to its fine but I wonder if its just developmental, maybe she needs a later bedtime (she has black out curtains but it is still not pitch black) or other. I know she needs wind down time and she does conk out instantly if we've been out playing at the park etc.
Do your LOs chat themselves to sleep?
Re: chatting herself to sleep - new skills, needs more time?
Cole chats and sometimes I hear him just going over the words he knows or said alot that day others its just noises. We need time to cool down so they probably do too!
Yes, she often chats herself to sleep.
if its only taking 10-30 min, I wouldn't necessarily think she needs to go later, but you could always move it back 10-15 min a night and see if anything changes. She very well could still chat for 30 min fi
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
Sometimes for naps. I think it's just their way of winding themselves down.
