Our Swing Sucks....

We purchased a swing after DS was born with giftcards to Sears (since we never buy anything there & we needed a swing).  Needless to say the swing sufficed for DS...but the motor was never really good.  DH & I are pretty sure it's shot. So we need a new one for this LO.  Any suggestions?

  • We also loved the Snugabunny with a big reservation - the motors are notorious for dying after a few months of use. Ours went out at six months. Fisher Price customer service is great and sent us a replacement motor at no cost. However, it was backordered

  • I've been happy with my basic graco swing.

DS loves our Mamaroo.  New ones are expensive, but I scored on on Craigslist for $65.  I recommend it!  Try Craigslist first, though.  ;)

  • We have the Starlight Papasan and while I love it, has netting on the sides and projects stars on the walls/ceiling and the netting... I think the snuga-bunny/monkey ones are super cute!

  • It all depends on what you are looking for in a swing, but I got the Bright Starts Ingenuity Portable Swing and used it as my main swing. It was great on batteries...in 4 months, I never had to replace them! It still has the different songs/sounds, but
