I am a self proclaimed pattern-illiterate BUT!  Guess what?  I followed a pattern and made a soaker!  ha!

I see in trip to the Goodwill in my very near future.  I'm going to make some with contrasting colored waist and leg bands.  And maybe bum appliques!
