Anyone here done mini-IVF?

So on another board a couple of different posters were telling me that their RE's (one of which was Check at Cooper who specializes in DOR) recs mini-IVF for ladies with ultra low or undetectable AMH. 

One of the ideas DH and I have been "toying" with is doing a freeze all cycle for use later. Of course, we aren't making any decisions about anything right now as I have that appointment with a new RE on April 5th.  However, I was just interested to hear if anyone had tried it.

It is definitely cheaper.  Since I responded to Clomid before (i.e. got pregnant) I was wonder if even a Clomid/IVF retrieval/freeze might be an option.  Heck, I was looking online and Cooper (we have an affiliate here in Houston) is only like $2k-something for mini IVF retrieval and freeze was another few hundred and like $500 a year for storage. And Clomid is super cheap. 

IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    I haven't done mini IVF, but I wonder how well it would work with DOR and just clomid. My main question is do people see 100 fert rate with mini IVF? I did conventional IVF with ICSI and only 6 of 9 mature eggs fertilized. I would worry that only 1 to 2 e

    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    After my miscarriages I talked to a RE about doing a mini-IVF.  I was 38 at the time and had very low AMH.  The docs concern was that I had been a poor responder to meds during my IVF cycle.  She didn't think the mini would work for me.&

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    I'm a lurker but had to chime in. I love Dr Check and did 2 rounds of mini-IVF with him. I totally buy into the theory of low-stim for high-FSH'ers (of which I am one.) (My highest FSH was 18 last fall). Even when I was on max stims at another clinic,
