Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Why leaks now?

We just bought Pampers Cruisers in size 3 (we were buying Swaddlers, but DS is going to grow out of 3's probably in the next two months, so I figured we would buy a bigger box for the same price). I just used the first of the Cruisers, and DS just got up from a nap. Apparently, his diaper (the Cruisers) leaked during his nap! He's NEVER had a leak with the Swaddlers.

Any ideas why he just leaked with the Cruisers? Did I just waste a bunch of money on a big box of Cruisers?

Edit: The Cruisers we bought are also size 3's, so they aren't too big for him.

Re: Why leaks now?

  • Cruisers I've noticed aren't as absorbent as the other pampers. They are also shaped lightly different for movers. I was never a fan of the sposies meant for moving babies and stuck with the ones that were "normal". I don't know what Pampers version was,

  • Cruisers are less absorbent than Baby Dry and Swaddlers. They are meant to be stretchy for babies on the move. Try not to use them at nap time if that's the only time you have issues.

  • Thanks. Why don't they just make one super awesome stretchy, absorbent diaper?? Lol. I'm just really annoyed now, since we bought one of those huge boxes of them. Will stores take those back if a diaper is missing?
