Got a "pregnant" on a digital this morning and I'm very happy I get to join 1st Tri Just a little intro: DH and I have been married for like 19 months, I'm a nurse and he's a freelance artist. This will be our first baby. Well really our first 'baby' is our little dog Blake, and I don't think Blake is going to take kindly to not being mama's favorite lol.

We're going to tell our close family in a couple weeks when my family gets together to celebrate the April birthdays. We're just trying to think of a clever way to do it.

Congrats on the positive! Yeah once my LO was born my dogs have never been the same. They mope around all the time lol. They aren't spoiled like they used to be anymore and they aren't happy about it!

Congratulations on your BFP! I too have a spoiled fur baby and I'm curious how he will do once baby arrives.

Thanks for the welcome! Hopefully we can find some good advice on how to introduce our dogs (my other dog lives down at my mom's house because she's too big for our apartment) to the new LO when s/he arrives. It will definitely be an adjustment.
