I hate working out. Walking? Yes. Throwing around a frisbee? Oh yes. Treadmill? Eff you gtfo.
It's still cold as balls here in Ohio, and not letting up. I promised myself that I would be active come spring to compensate for how poorly I've eaten all winter. I need to get the weight of that I gained from the thyroid medicine I had been taking.
Well, spring isn't happening here. I needed a back-up plan...
Today I realized that Evie finds it HILARIOUS when I squat down and dip her in a swoop-like motion. She was busting a gut for real. After doing this about 10 times, I could feel it in my thighs. After 20 times I was out of breath, and after 30 chortle-filled baby-swoops, I had to take a break. I can still feel it in my legs.
I found out she also enjoys me scooping her upwards repeatedly, which is great for the arms. She likes to sit on my belly when I do crunches, as long as I make a silly noise at her when I sit up.
I can get into this; mashing baby play-time with calorie burning time. My goal is to lose 6lbs by the end of April, when I go home. I am currently 206lbs (holy sh!t I can't believe I said that out loud.) I'm 5'5" for some perspective. I like to tell myself it's not that bad because I have a great big round butt which I am very proud of, and tig ole bitties.
I can't be the only one who does this, right? Anyone else? Bueller... Bueller...
