WTF Yesterday

It went ok. He doesnt have a reason as to why it didnt work. I have 2 frosties left which are better quality than the nurse had told me before. One is good and the other is fair. They do a good, fair, poor grading system so they are pretty good embies. We are going to try again and transfer both this time. He wants to use menopur and bravelle this time because menopur is supposed to help lining. They are teh same drugs I used for my IVF that I got pregnant with so maybe it will work again. Its more expensive that the bravelle which sucks. I will need 40 vials of each and even getting it through a pharmacy in England its still like $4k and thats not including the $4k for the RE or pills, patches, endometrium ect ect. So I'm going to have to take a couple months off to try to get the money together. AF showed up in the middle of the night waking me up with probably the worst cramps Ive ever had so I will go in for a baseline on Monday then start BCP till we are ready to cycle. I have been doing IF treatments without a break for 18 months so I think a break will be kinda nice. He also mentioned again using a serrogate. To use a serrogate Im still going to have to stim and do a ER for more eggs so I guess if I have a good lining then I would try to put them in me instead. I would have to save up for that again so it would take some time. I also havent spoken with my friend who volunteered to be a serrogate since she has spoken to her husband about it. So I'm not 100% sure she is going to do it but I know she wants to just needed to weigh out the pros and cons with her DH. I will see her next week and I plan on asking her then. I also have a SIL that is chomping at the bit wanting to carry for us but hasnt had a child herself yet. So I guess if it doesnt work out with my friend I can always wait till SIL has a kid to be my serrogate. But thats all a bridge I will cross when it comes. Im kinda starting to realize that if this whole baby thing doesnt work out life is still going to be ok. It will be a disappointment of course but life goes on. DH and I will just have more money and toys to play with and vacations to take. Im not giving up but just being realistic that there may not be a happy ending to this journey. So for right now Im going to try, key word, try to forget about IF and just enjoy being married for a while. Get drunk when I wanna, have tons of sex, go mudding, ride my horse, go boating and fishing. Basically do whatever the hell I want when I want. And also let my stomach heal up from the drugs this cycle. I have horrible black and green bruises and red holes from the lovenox injections and red square rashes from my adhesive allergy to the patches. Hopefully after a month or two I'll have the money together to try again. So if you or know of anyone that has menopur or bravelle they dont need send them my way!

    That's good the embryos are better than you thought! Hopefully they will do the trick and you won't have to worry about saving for more treatment or using a surrogate. I hope you are able to relax and truly enjoy the much needed break!

    i'm glad the frosties were better than you thought.

    the whole lining thing is so crazy. i had 8.6 today for the first time ever over 7 after three iui, 2 FET, 1 IVF with an estrogen level over 2000 and still only a 5.6 mm lining.

    ME!!!   There is a girl in my Resolve group that I offered my Menopur to, she's doing a donor cycle completely OOP but if she doesn't take them (I'd know by end of April) then I have 5 unopened boxes exp. between 2/14 and 3/14 that I'd be happy

    I live near kflynn so if you want, I have some left over ganerelix since we changed protocols. I also have a bunch of endometrin since my cervix doesn't like it. Maybe I can ship w kflynn?
