Late Intro - Glad to see this board!

Hi Everyone!

I am a 31 year old, single, full time working mom of a 2.5 year old boy. My son was born very sick, nearly died and I was told he would be brain damaged (luckily he is not). Scariest labor and delivery/emergency Csection I could have imagined. He spent 17 days in the NICU. My ex had some problems with drug addiction/anger issue and I went to hell and back with him and court, visitation, child support etc. Its been a crazy, stressful 2.5 years to say the least!

I am one and done by choice. I cant handle anymore than I have on my plate right now nor can I financially afford it!

I do feel bad that my son wont have a sibling but I have a step sister who is one of my best friends so maybe my son will have a situation like that down the road if his father or I ever remarry someone who already has kids.
