diaper leaks?

I need some advice! My LO is almost 9 weeks old, she is a tummy sleeper (its the only way she will sleep through the night. I have had a couple issues over the past week that she is waking up with a wet spot out the top of her diaper. Last night is happened twice. Is there something I should be doing differently with her diaper, does this mean she needs a bigger size? I am worried with a bigger size it will still happen. (We are currently in NB and those still fit quick well, the size 1 looks so huge for her) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

  • What kind of diapers do you use? I think Huggies work better than pampers because they have the elastic at the back.. My husband bought white cloud diapers and they leaked all the time..

  • In my experience, leaks usually mean its time to go up a size even if they look fine in the smaller size. Put the bigger diapers on and make sure everything is tight!
  • I can't believe your 9 week old is still in newborn diapers! How much does she weigh?

My 7 week old is in size 2 diapers. I buy the overnight ones for nighttime. (We do cloth during the day.)

  • Size up, NB size went out the window at about a week old here.
If that doesn't help try putting them on backwards, I've heard that helps tummy sleepers.
