This Saturday I have an appointment at Target for our first family portraits. I'm planning on waking DD up at 8am, letting her play til 10am, then nap for at least an hour. Thing is, she can be up for about two hours before she gets cranky and wants sleep. I'm worried she'll fuss up a storm and get angry with us in the Target.
How do you keep your DC happy for professional pictures?
Also, does your child kind of go catatonic in public? DD tends to freeze up and just stare at her surroundings when we take her out. I'm afraid she won't smile for the pictures
Re: Prof Pics and Keeping DC Happy?
I make sure she has a semi-full belly. That way she isn't hungry but not milk-drunk! I know the photographer we use so I am not at all embarrassed to sing silly songs to make DD smile/laugh.
Good Luck!
