Does anyone know of brands of baby furniture that's made in the USA or Canada, well basically anywhere not in China?? I saw some posts awhile ago and should have written down the names but forgot! Thanks!
Yeah I never paid attention either until I went there and saw all the horrible conditions but I'm sure I also have a ton of stuff still in my house made there! Just trying to limit my purchases now!
USA made was important to us for many reasons. We found Echelon which is made in US. Very pricey but decided it was best for us. We got the Cambridge bedroom set. Converts to toddler bed and full size bed so figured it was just an investment ;
Strollers/car seats. Some Britax car seats are made here.
Strollers- Stokke, Quinny & Peg Perego are all made in Europe. We are either going with a Quinny or Peg Perego (Book Plus). You can see all three at Buy Buy Baby. &nb
Li's crib is Newport Cottages, it's made in CA. There are a lot of small brands out of the US, I believe Duc Duc is one of them. I'll google and see what I can find, they tend to be pricey, though.
You could always try the eco-friendly family forum. I'm sure they can offer suggestions. I know Bonavita made them in either Italy or the US but you can check. I think Stanley's Young America furniture is also made in the US. They have nice things!
