FMLA In MI

I just started a new job at the end of December and if I were to get pregnant now I believe the due date would b in December. Would I be covered under this act? I read you have to have worked for the company at least a year or worked 1250 hours which PTO, sick leave and holidays don't count into the hours worked. Just need clarification as I would be concerned about not getting paid and/ or loosing my job.
