I think it's ok to feel disappointed if you have to "share the limelight" with someone else who is KU at the same time.

Well it seems the parents believe those plastic guys are acceptable babysitters...I don't want to go outside with my kid, but I'll just leave this plastic slow sing out here and it'll all be fine.

It may or may not be true that I stole one of these from our neighbor on our dead end street. It was always blocking the road so I had to get out and move it to get to my house.
