Anyone have a late amnio to determine lung maturity? What was it like?

Thanks! My doc said it wouldn't be too bad, but she's nit the one getting it! I had an earlier amnio, but it was in conjunction with fetal laser surgery, so they were in there anyway, no separate procedure. I am sure it won't be as bad as that was at l

Yep, I had one right at 35 weeks when I was sent to the hospital. I was so worked up and scared about it, but it did not hurt at all, and it was so quick.
