I don't contribute regularly to this board, but was encouraged to share it here...hope that's okay
(xp from March 2013)
Crazy crazy crazy...when I was checked on Monday I was 80% and 1 cm (no progress in the past two weeks) and the doc said a v-bac didn't look in the cards. So I had a section scheduled for today (Wednesday)
And on Tuesday morning, I woke up to contractions and bloody discharge. They became regular quickly; called my doc at 10 am when they were 4 min apart; they sent me to the hospital; water broke on its own around 2; I was checked at 330 and was already 9 cm! Got an epi, pushed for an hour and Kieran was born. He's pretty awesome
Labor was a breeze compared to what I thought it would be in my head - I had so many concerns about trying v-bac and was back and forth with my decision for months. I'm so sad that it almost didn't happen, but thank goodness my body had other plans!
Pin me baby!

Re: Positive v-bac story (I was so on the fence about it!)
Thanks for sharing your story!
I'm not on here very often either, yet (I'm only 11 weeks), but I will probably check it out as I get closer to Oct.
I'm looking forward to reading more success stories like yours!
