Anyone else's little cavemen suddenly start hating baths? We take C to swim lessons once a week so she is used to being wet and she loves water - loves to play in it, washing her hands, etc. However the past few nights when we have given her a bath she has flipped a little bit when we rinse her down with the hand held shower head or pour water over her head. Last night she totally lost her baby mind and refused to even get near the tub. We are using one of those duck shaped inflatable tubs until we finish some construction in the guest bathroom where the real tub is. I was thinking maybe she is uncomfortable in the little tub, but she has never been afraid before. Any suggestions?
Re: Bathing issues
DD has always hated baths, always. She loves to swim but there is something about baths she hates. She also loves "water play." I have tried everything (having the room warmer, less water in the tub, etc) and she still flips her lid as soon as I put he

What about some really enticing bath toys? DD will sit and let me wash, comb and apply product to her hair while playing with this <a href="https://www.amazon.com/VTech-Count-Dive-Penguins-Bath/dp/B007XVYRBC/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363888536&
Yup we are having that issue right now. As soon as I put her in the tub, she yells "bye-bye, bye-bye" to the water. I've tried taking a shower with her and I've tried toys, but neither of those have worked.
I was going to sign her up
We mix up the toys a lot, so they seem fresh and interesting. DD is currently into a plastic baby doll that she can wash while we give her a bath.
Burned by the Bear
Thanks for the input ladies. She does love to play baby so I will pick up a bath doll for her and will try to not run the water while she's in there and will stop pouring water on her head and see if that helps.
