Metformin Question

It's been a while since I have posted and some of you may not recognize me at all. I do lurk daily and love the support and information that I get from this board.

I was put on Metformin for PCOS on February 15th and through the last 5 weeks have worked my way up to 2000mg. The side effects weren't too bad and they come and go.

Sunday evening I started my period and I realized int was CD28. I have been having Cycles lasting 35 days plus. So my question is, do you think it is helping balance some of hormones? I am so nervous to go to the doctor Monday...I just want it to be working.

Hopefully I haven't left anything out, thanks ladies.

    If the only thing you've changed is adding Met then I'd say yes it's a good chance it's balanced out some hormones, but only time and blood work will tell you for sure.
