Seriously? Who says that to someone who is pregnant?? I significantly dislike this colleague and now I have more reason to ignore him. I am uncomfortable and at a two day conference. Everyone else has been so nice. FTR, I am not large. My boss told me "there is another gregnant woman here and she is MUCH bigger." In a group of 90 men, pregnant female colleagues are an abnormality.

He's a jackass.  Why don't people understand that you NEVER comment on the size of a woman's pregnant belly.  Whether you think it's big or small.

When I told my boss I was pregnant she said "Ohhhh OK. I just thought you were getting fat." thanks.

People asked me that ALL.THE.TIME. And insisted it could be twins, even though I knew for a fact I had just one baby in there.

Out of the 500+ people, everyone was super nice.  The only exception was one jackass.  I wish I had said something witty, instead I just walked away and b!tched about him to a colleague.

"Yeah I am, how could you tell?" usually either makes them go all deer in the headlights or say cause I'm bigger... Then I can either say "thats rude" or "yeah... I am just fat." I like to make idiots feel awkward.
