Happy First Day of Spring!

 

We got 15" of snow from 9pm last night to 7am today. WTF.

It was horrible! It was 25 below today and didn't feel a thing like spring! And looking at all the outdoor pictures in HDBD makes me so jealous that people actually aren't stuck inside all day long!

Sunny and in the 60s. We spent most of today outside.

5C and 10 or so cm of snow since Tursday snowing off and on. Spring my azz.

Only half a day of rain in good ol WA.
Returned things at three stores, put together Gator's new Power Wheels quad, trimmed the hedges...then promptly trimmed the power cord....oops!, worked out, made dinner,.....pretty boring stuff

We have about a  foot and a half of snow on the ground and it was about 19 degrees yesterday.   Last year at this time my Day lilies were sprouting.

We had a snow day on Tuesday so there is still a ton of snow on the ground, and it's freezing!!

It is so spring-like here they pushed the Cherry Blossom Festival back a week. It is cold and gray...

I just looked at the national weather forecast temps for today.  Anchorage, Alaska is going to be warmer than the Twin cities, MN.

My car read 17 degrees this morning. DD wore her snow suit to daycare. I predict we'll see spring some time around mid-June.
