S/O negligence...
Forgive me if I seem crass, but I have had to call 911 twice in one week, and I am irate that I have my son in a neighborhood of such ummmmmmm BS (remember Jessica Ridgeway?) now all of this...
Last Thursday a Range rover slammed into my neighbor's truck head on and took off... I saw the entire thing and called 911 as my H tried to chase down the vehicle.
When the police spoke to my H, they told him the driver ran from the car and they found a gun. WTF? What if my H caught the car?
The next call to 911 was made because the neighbors that share a fence in the back yard were not watching their 3 and 13 month old kiddos. The 3 year old was in the window well and the 13 month old was toddling around throwing a shoe at her...every time she went over to the 3 year old I gasped that he would not fall down the window well.
The police said they would send someone over.
45 minutes later the 3 year old is locked out side. by herself. in a diaper. crying. banging on the sliding door to let her in for 20 minutes. I called the police again and made a report to our county's CPS.
GOOD GRIEF! What in the world is my childhood neighborhood coming too?
How can people be so negligent of their own lives, their children, and other people's lives and children?
Btw,
If you are one of my bumpie friends... do not be worried! I am cool as a cumber! This just baffles me

My neighborhood is getting to be like this. Families move into these rental houses and don't seem to care a bit about their children. They let them play in the street and make noise well after dark. The one day I came home from work and a little boy ha

I have wanted to call the police at least 3 other times the week before; one night there was a physical fight! A different night the mom was
