We're having a really hard time coming up with a name for a boy! I'm not loving anything we have found. My husband is Puertorican and we have a very common spanish last name that starts with a G. There is a Spanish name, Timoteo that I think is kind of cute but we don't really want to give him a spanish first name since he will already have a spanish last name. Then we remembered this name (common in Europe) called "Timo." My husband loves it because he's into auto racing and several race car drivers have this name. I thought maybe we could name him Timothy for a LN and maybe to satisfy the more traditional folks in the fam, and call him Timo most of the time. What do you guys think? Anyone ever heard of this name? The bonus is that it would be easy to pronounce for both sides of the family, and it's unique to go with the ultra common last name.
Re: Spanglish name: Timothy aka "Timo" sounds like Teemo

He was born in Japan (military family) and their Japanese friends had a hard time saying Timothy, so they all nicknamed him Timo and
