Oh the standing up in the crib milestone.....

NOT so cute when you want them to go to bed for the night..

 Had to let him figure out how to get himself to lay down to fall asleep, after about 20 mins of crying.  I went in once to position him to lay down and rubbed his back. He then got himself back up into standing and cried his little heart out.

 Just when sleeping was back to good again.....Granted, he slept through the night, thankfully - but the putting to bed act isn't as easy as it used to be.

 How are you all dealing?

Sounds like that works for you

 My little man never falls asleep in anything...LOL! Only if he is so tired, he will fall asleep after his bottle on my shoulder. I always put him down drowsy but awake any other time, but now that he can pull himself up to stand...if he is more awake than I think, I am in trouble! LOL!

Usually I let her cry a little bit, because she knows how to lay down after standing up in the crib. STTN has been very trying for us and we just this start to sleep again. Normally I just go back in to sooth, but that doesn't always work. hugs mama!

LO started this around 7-8mo, now that he's running and walking, I'm worried wbout him trying to climb out. 

As far as standing, they learn to go back down pretty quick.
