Restaurant suggestions in DC?

My girlfriend and I are visiting this weekend and looking for some place fun.  A fixed price menu would be great, or even a tasting menu.  She would like to spend around $50 but I am willing to spend more. Thanks!

    There are a ton of awesome restaurants, but I don't often run into fixed priced menus.  The tasting menus I've seen run significantly over $50.  What about a small plates place, where you can taste a lot of things over the course of a meal?&nbsp

    Check out OpenTable.com. There are reviews of restaurants, price ranges, and a place to make reservations (which you will want this weekend with the Cherry Blossom Festival). GL!

    Definitely Jaleo, Zaytinia, Oyamel...all offer amazing food at reasonable prices! YUM! Also Poste Moderne is great too. Or District Chophouse does some brilliant dishes.
