Anyone elses's kid "brilliant"?

Is it just me or do we all feel that our kids are brilliant for their age?  Seriously!  I hate to compare but whenever I see other kids C's age I tend to think "wow, C is so much more advanced them them!". And our daycare provider claims that C's off the charts for all of her evaluations. Maybe it's my job as a mom to think this way?  I actually feel pretty bad about it.  Not that I'm judging but I'm just in aw...

Yes. I think my kid is a genius. We had lunch with dh's cousin a few weeks ago. J was talking more clearly and saying longer sentences than her 3 year old.

meh. I think she's pretty average in most areas based on what I read here, but she is really awesome at dancing and gymnastics type stuff. She doesn't go to DC though, so I don't really know a lot of other 2yos to compare her to.
