heat rash??

DD has had a strange rash the past couple days-- only on her tummy- red and raised little bumps.

When she wakes in the morning it is barely there-- but by the end of the day it has flared up.

Is this a heat rash??

She hasn't had any new foods.

We did, however, change her bath soap to an aveeno brand from johnson and johnson.

It sounds like a heat rash possibly. Do you put lotion on her? My doc said not to put lotion because it blocks the sweat glands and causes the heat rash. He said to put vaseline on her, instead.

ahhhh good thinking-- didn't even think of that- yes I was putting lotion on- I'm going to stop for a bit. she woke up and it looks fine. we will see by the end of the day- thank you!!!

Sounds like it could also be eczema. When my dd used to have flare ups she's wake up looking good then be a mess by the end if the day with red blotchy spots in the usual places. Does it itch her? Eczema and heat rash are both itchy. Is it really hot wher
