We got back from our trip and the homeschool convention. I really enjoyed it! I would have loved to hear more lectures, but with an 8 month old, I'm just glad I was able to sit through three of them. DH was great about taking him out if he got loud, and my inlaws were so nice to keep our older two while we went. There were tons of other kids there though.
There were so many vendors and I could have stayed there for days looking at all they were selling. It was like being in a massive bookstore with all things relevant to homeschooling. We bought a math curriculum for next year, a thorough book on Charlotte Mason's teachings, and two prisms that DH wanted to play with...I mean teach the kids about light. There were so many other things I wanted to buy but didn't. I definitely got a lot of ideas and feel really good about our plans for next year.
