Hello! I've been lurking for a while, and want to get some advice on what to do next since it seems like all you ladies will understand the position I am in. Feel free to tell me I am in the wrong place. I know the struggles that I have been through so far TTC are just ant hills compared to the struggles facing many ladies on this site. I don't want to come across as someone who does not recognize that.
I had my son on 9/28/2012. We had a perfectly healthy pregnancy, but something happened right before he was born and he ended up being stillborn. He was conceived after 2 months of trying and as far as we know, he was perfectly healthy.
My husband and I have been TTC #2 since I got my first postpartum period on 11/23. We've gone through 4 fertile windows with no luck, and have had a lot of confusing moments with ovulation and timing. Nothing seems to be working "right". I'm so frustrated with my body and my lack of control over it.
Some background on me - I'm 25 and I was pretty average weight before I got pregnant but gained 65 pounds during my pregnancy. I turned to dieting and working out to shed weight and am now 12 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight (I am borderline "underweight" for my BMI right now, which is starting to be a concern to me). I am no longer trying to lose weight but the scale keeps going down, which is frustrating because I am blaming my inability to control my weight to our problems TTC. Other than that, I should be "healthy".
I guess my question for you ladies is, at what point did you know it was time to see a doctor? What were the first steps you took? General physical with a consultation? Did all you ladies start with your OB and go from there if extra steps were needed?
Thanks in advance ladies!
ETA: Title adjusted.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your son. I can't imagine how difficult it's been for you. I agree with everyone else. I think it's premmature to think there are issues when it hasn't been a full year yet, your weight has been up and do
