Baths??

Hey everyone! I hope everything is going good! I had a quick question. I know that we are supposed to stay away from hot tubs. I am just wondering if I can take a bath with warm/hot water or if that is also a no no? Thanks everyone!

  • I have read that that is a no no. Something about the heat can make you faint or light headed.. 

    Although, I like to shave my legs in a bath (then shower afterwords) and I did the other night, I just kept the water rather shallow.

  • I've always heard that if you can comfortably be in the water, it's fine. If you pull away from the heat initially, it's too hot. If you have a thermometer, I think the cutoff for it to be considered too hot is 100 Fahrenheit.

  • Fainting with hot showers or baths us a risk. I'm known to do this. With my second pregnancy I fainted once while sitting in a steamy shower with my then 3 year old bc she had croup. No fun!
