Back in the sack...what to expect?

So, sorry if this is TMI, but I had my 6 week PP checkup today and was cleared for sex. I had a c-section so I doubt much will feel differently to me but still have to ask. What was your first time after baby like?

  • Also a c-section mam here. First time hurt still but mostly because things were very um... tight? I second the lovely mama above me on the use lube comment. Be slow, make sure he takes good care of you before things get too crazy :)

  • With DS1, I had a csection (but labored beforehand too) and things still hurt pretty badly.  Everything was very, very dry for about a year and half too due to breastfeeding.  Make sure you have lots of lube on hand beforehand.  This bab

  • That's what I thought after my c/s with DD1, too - nothing happened down there (I never labored), so things would be fine, right? Wrong. Even with lube, it felt like sandpaper and I couldn't let him finish it hurt so badly. I was still pumping at the time
