Drinking and IVF meds?

I enjoy a beer or 2 while watching march madness.  I'm on lupron now and I can't remember what the rules are on drinking and lupron or drinking and stims.

NOT talking about getting wasted.  But what do you ladies think?  Do lupron and alcohol mix?  Stims and alcohol? Thoughts?

I'll probably chicken out and drink NA beer, but there is a planned outing with my office next week and it I chose soda or NA it might be obvious and I'm trying to plan ahead.

I'm not really sure if you 'can' or 'can't' drink while on Lupron because I haven't ever taken that, but I have gotten away with flying under the radar by ordering N/A drinks (N/A margaritas and bloody mary's are my go to drinks when pg or on fertility

During IUI cycles, I would occasionally drink while stimming (I used Follistim).  But during my IVF cycle, I didn't drink at all.  Who knows if it made a difference or not, but I wasn't risking anything for a drink.

I was allowed a beer or one glass of wine during Lupron, but was told to stop with stims. I will say I dreamed about that last beer during my pregnancy, so I say have one!

I always quit all alcohol and caffeine before my cycles. Good luck!

I quit all alcohol during my cycles as I read it could improve outcomes.  But, my RE never said to quit alcohol all during cycles.

For my first IVF I did have a glass or two of wine during stims, I did the same for my second IVF, but when that & my FET failed, it left me questioning everything I did for those cycles & that is not a feeling you want to have at the end of

I don't, but not because I really think there is something wrong with it. It's more that if the cycle is a BFN I want to eliminate everything I could possibly look back at and wonder what if. Honestly, I think a beer on Lupron is fine. Hopefully it will b

I always drank until transfer.  I figured I was giving up enough and I'm really only a couple of light beers kind of girl. Me RE was fine with it.
