Growth Spurt?

My son is three weeks today and for the past two days he has been eating every hour on the hour. Our nighly feeding are the same, every 3 to 5 hours, but the afternoon feedings are awful. He gets extra fussy around this time too. Is this a growth spurt? and if it is how long do they last?

My little girl is 3 weeks today and she is doing the same thing.. I was wondering the same thing..

my DS is 3 weeks 3 days today and is eating about every 1-2 hours day and night. He was a super cranky kid yesterday too so I'm hoping this is the spurt and it will end soon.

DD has never eaten as much as she did at 3 weeks! She was eating 4oz every feeding then, now at almost 7 weeks it's great when she finishes 2oz! So I definitely think there's a growth spurt at that age

3 weeks was one of the roughest weeks for us but I could tell you why. He was just fussy, gassy, and always eating!

same thing here... our little munchkin is 3 weeks and 2 days also! A family friend/dr told me it was a growth spurt.

Right here with ya. My son is 3 weeks today and he has been super hungry for the past few days --- wanting to eat every hour or so in the morning and afternoon.

My kid is 6 weeks and has been doing this since she was 3 weeks old.  Told the pediatrician today I am getting weary and she said that some babies feed alot during the day and then go longer at night.  Kind of saving up I guess.
