Insect repellent

I was going to ask about sunblock too, but someone already beat me to it.  

We live a pretty buggy climate.  I have not had luck with the clip-on type of repellents.  What do you put on your LO to protect against mosquito bites?

I use Off. It has DEET in it. West Nile is a real concern in this area. I use it on both children.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have used the OFF brand before on myself, but was hesitant to put it on DD. I am looking for something to apply directly to skin. Unfortunately lavender gives me migraines.  I will check Avon SSS.  <span

I have used California Baby repellant spray but kind of pricey. Last year i used avon skin so soft stuff for kids and it worked really well and was more reasonably priced. No deet in either.

I found a "natural" repellant last year - maybe OFF brand? I doubt it's really completely natural, but it has less chemicals than the regular stuff, so I felt a little better using it. It seemed to work well, but we didn't use it in heavily wooded areas.

Another vote for Avon.

We have the California Baby bug spray...not only was it pricey, it doesn't seem to work very well.  I felt like I needed to reapply it every 20 minutes, what a pain!

I have always used CA Baby Insect Spray.  It is pricy, but the same bottle has lasted me 2+ years.
