Sleep Deprived...

I'm about 30 weeks along and for the past few weeks I have been unable to get a good nights sleep. It has only gotten worse! I have been a stomach sleeper all my life so I find sleeping on my sides very uncomfortable - my hips hurt and the baby ends up in my ribs. Been awake since 4am this morning and my eyes are starting to shut on me . I think all expecting mommas should get a nap time at work!

  • I am one of the lucky ones that has had no issues with sleep this prgnancy. Only recently I started getting hip pain. Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your legs? maybe take a hot bath before bed time, and/or get your H to give you a massage.

  • I am right there with you!! Baby kicks and dances all night the pillow between the legs help some, I take benedryl before going to bed hoping it will knock me out for awhile and keep my sneezng fits away. ;)

  • Yep...I am usually awake by 2am or so...and then toss and turn for a few hours, managing to get back to sleep just as my husbands alarm goes off.

    Last night I had heartburn so bad I could have breathed fire!!!

     But...get used to it

  • Try a long, hot shower before bed...that used to work for me. Now nothing I try works (38 wks 4 days here) & I end up on the couch..my bed is just not comfortable to me anymore. The past couple days have been the worst & I've been extremely moody
