Had my lap yesterday and endometriosis was confirmed. The doctor said it was stage 3 or 4 but wanted to wait for pathology before giving a definitive answer. The surgery took 2 1/2 hours but my family says the doctor was happy with the results. I didn't get a good chance to talk with him as I was so groggy. He says our best chances of conceiving are the next 2 months. I guess the good news is my tubes were clear. I had it on my ovaries, cul de sac, and ligaments behind the uterus, but my family was fuzzy on the rest. He also removed cysts, which was a surprise for me as I've had normal ultrasounds! Aside from trying to conceive he felt that the surgery would really help the intense pain I get during my period, and the painful sex I have always experienced.
I'm taking 800 mg of ibuprofen and getting by with the pain. Is it possible that by tomorrow I may feel a little more human? Honestly the nausea was probably the worst part. Since they used the davinci robot, I have 4 incisions, but no gas pain at all - at least not yet!

Rest up and good luck in your next few cycles!
I stopped taking my pain meds on the 2nd day. The bloating was the worst part for me but wasn't anymore uncomfortable than my monthly cramps. By the 3rd day I felt back to normal and had
