Insurance ? Maxed out well visits

I just got a bill for my DS's last well visit. I was surprised to see on the bill that my insurance rejected the charge because the well visits are "maxed out".

I looked at my policy and it seems that since my state only mandates 7 well visits before age 1 that's all insurance will cover.

My DS is supposed to go for another well visit next month so I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone else having this problem?

You've already had 7 well visits?

We've only had 6 -  3day, 2week, 2month, 4month, 6month, 9month.  If you just went in for a weight check or delayed vaccine that should be billed differently than a well visit.

I'm going through the claims right now. It looks like I reached 7 well visits in December. I'm going to have to check each claim because my DS was sick a few times with ear infections. I want to make sure something wasn't billed incorrectly.
