Pressure?

Has anyone had pressure in the lower abdomen, right below the belt button area? I had it all day yesterday. Today it is gone. I have a doctors appointment anyway for something else so I'm going to mention it. But I was thinking it was a bladder infection even tho I have no other symptoms of that!? Not sure. I am 17 weeks yesterday.

I experienced this about a month ago. It felt like someone was sitting on my pelvic area. I was told I was dehydrated and to drink more water. The pressure greatly decreased after a bottle of water. So definitely mention it to your doctor but try drinking

weight of uterus/baby, plus bladder. It's normal to feel pressure.

The weight and position of baby probably is causing the pressure. You don't realize sometimes how heavy they are. I wear a pelvic support belt when I am out and when I take it off, immediately he drops and I remember thinking the first time, gosh baby is

I actually just had my appointment this morning and asked my OB about it since I've been having pressure there too and he said it's normal.  I wouldn't worry about it.

The preasure is from the 4 ligament in your lower abdominal thats holding up your uterus. This could increase as your baby grows. I'm experiencing it a lot myself so I'm doing massages in the lower back, hip and lower belly to help.

I figured it was growing and all that good stuff. I didnt have it the next day at all either.
