What do you know now...

That you wish you knew then, in the way of baby products.
What did you absolutely need that didn't end up meeting your expectations?
Or ridiculous products that you've seen that you can't believe people would actually spend money on. Or even stuff you bought with good intentions but haven't got around to using.

I would love to know and wish I had asked before our baby showers.

    Mine are:

    1. I loath button up footy pajamas. Particularly the crotch buttons. Zippers are the way to go! After E grows out of them, they're off to goodwill.

    1. short sleeve onesies were useless for my winter baby.

    2. the gowns everyone raves about with the elastic bottoms

    3. buying so many bottles LO hated tommee tippee and playtex and we had to go out and buy dr browns

    1. Sleeveless onesie as it is winter and newborn onesie DS out grew it in a week.

    2. Sleeping bag was a waste as DS hated being in it.

    The hard part about these polls are everyone is going to have different experiences based on different babies.  We have two children and our experiences have been so different with each.

    Agree with the PPs.  Onesies are a pain!  I wish I would have bought more footie pajamas that zip.  They are the most convenient especially at night and they're warm in our drafty house.  I also wish I would have bought one or two c

    I actually prefer button pajamas to ones with zippers.

    I just packed up a dozen newborn onesies and as many newborn and 03 pants that she never wore. They were all gifts, but I wish I would have returned them.

    I really tried hard to only register for things we really needed and to read tons of reviews before registering so I've found most all of the items we received. Ther at e few things I will be buying/already bought since the baby is here:

    I totally agree with those who said it depends on the baby and the mama!  Plus you never know how things will go...  For example, DD was 8lbs 5.6oz at birth, but due to feeding issues dropped to 7lbs 1oz.  So even though she was on the b
