Self latching age

At about what age do babies learn to latch on by themselves and need no guidance?

I know it's going to be different for everyone, but I'm looking for norms. I guess this could be a poll.

  • At 7 months I still sometimes help DS on. After his initial latch he is typically on and off a few Times and he does that himself.
