wonky eye

Sophia had what we thought was amblyopia ("lazy eye") but we were wrong. Pediatric ophthalmologist diagnosed her with Duane Syndrome. One of the cranial nerves that stimulate movement in the eye muscles didn't develop properly. She has no ability to move her left eye to the left side.

Anyone else have a wonky-eyed baby?

I don't, but my niece has a wonky eye.  Her mylene sheath (spelling?) in her left eye didn't develop properly over the nerve so she only has about 10 percent sight in that eye.  She calls it her dirty eye, lol.  She's 7 now and doing rea
