IF and Weight Gain

I have packed on a nice 5 lbs to my small 5'3 frame with these IF treatments that make me feel blah most of the time. And I eat much less than I used to, but I also find it very hard to get out and exercise with the headaches and hot flashes from clomid, the nausea and vomiting from ovidrel, the lethargy and the lovely 24/7 panty liners from progesterone, etc! I obviously understand the fundamentals of HOW to lose weight, but any tricks of the trade out there to get through all that is IF without gaining a ton of lbs?

Sorry, after five treatment cycles - the only time I gained more than a pound was the five I gained this past Jan/Feb cycle with the pregnancy then emotional eating of the c/p m/c.  And I have yet to lose 4lbs of the five.

I've gained weight recently also. Not a ton, but more than I'd like. I can't really blame it on meds yet as I've only had a trigger shot as far as IF meds go. However the emotional lows of TTC have a huge effect on my eating habits.

Until this week I'd lost about 18lbs at a pound or two a week just through diet and exercise. But since Friday I've gained about 6 lbs and two inches around my waist. It sucks!! IF meds make me crazy but I don't think I'd have ever had my thyroid checked

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I certainly understand it's not the medications that are making me gain weight, but the changes in my lifestyle that it has caused. I just need to hunker down and get through the next two weeks until my boss comes back

While we are on the subject of diet and exercise during IF treatment, has anyone's RE said certain exercises are off limits. I'm wondering especially during the TWW after IUI, what is safe to do. I really want to do ab routines but it just seems like it m
