I've have tendinitis in both wrists since October approximately. It resulted from lifitng the baby, changing diapers, etc and having weak tendons. I have done PT and it helped and also have been wearing braces daily. I have stopped lifting the car seat and went out only for doctors appointments with someone helping me lift the car seat.
A friend invited me for a play date it and I'd like to go but I'll have to drive and don't want to continue having to ask someone every time I need to drive my baby. It is frustrating BC I'm very independent and want to take my baby out.
I'd like to know if there are other moms with this and what you do. I was thinking about having the car seat already in the car and just put the baby there and then use a baby carrier or light stroller.
Any tips will be great!
I certainly don't want to aggravate the condition, I know there are some moms that have to have surgery....

Leave the car seat in the car and take the baby.
Get a nice baby carrier like an Ergo, so you can go wherever you want. Or put the baby in a stroller.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I will start using a baby carrier and leave the car seat in the car. I won't be using my snap and go anymore BC that is intended for car seat. I'll have to find a light stroller for the car as well to be taking it in and
I believe I had/have it, but was never formally diagnosed. It was the worst in my right wrist but luckily I stopped the bad habits before it spread too badly into my left wrist. Here are the things that worked for me personally but ymm
Jsillyfun, I'm glad you got relief with the shots! I know it is an option and I may end up doing it. I saw a hand specialist who said shot once and if it doesn't work the et step is surgery (ouch).
I have a relative who is a physician and m
