Baby Names

Adamant 4yo nephew

We told my little 4yo nephew by phone a few weeks that auntie has a baby in her belly :)  After asking "Really?", he immediately told me to get a pencil and paper, because he is naming the baby. Bear in mind, he's known for about 30 seconds about this baby! He stated Justin will be the boy name, and Galaxy the girl name. How cute and hilarious. I have since spoken to him about 5 times, and let me tell you...kids do not forget! He brings it up everytime, just to make sure I haven't lost my piece of paper. We find out soon enough whether it's boy or girl... Wonder if I'll be having a Justin or Galaxy...?  lol

  • Awww that's cute. You could use them in the middle name spot and have a cute story to tell. My sister wanted to name me Emily but my parents didn't like it so it is my middle name. I guess it isn't too out there but Galaxy could be a cool middle name haha

  • hahaha, great idea. I may have to come up with a slight variation to Galaxy, but I'll see how I can incorporate it. Would hate to have an upset nephew for the rest of my life :)

  • Make a deal with him that he gets to name the baby while it is in your tummy, and you get to name it when it is born!

  • That's pretty adorable. My 9yo nephew made me a list, as well - mostly holiday themed, since we told them at Christmas and I'm due on the 4th of July. After I shot down Logan Jr., explaining that the baby would only be a Logan Jr. if it was his son (he di
