Car seat allergy instead of food.

Hi there! My son is now 7 months old and for the past for months we have been struggling to figure out why he is getting oozy rashes on his arms, legs, neck and cheek. We have been to the pedi and allergist more times than  we can count. So after this,sat sore on the back of his calf, I had a sneaky feeling it was his car seat. I thought this in October but no dr confirmed it. So I googled it today. Turns out the bromine flame retardant they spray everything with, could be the culprit.  I called baby trend, explained the situation,  and she said they don't have almost of the ingredients but will send me a new cover. So all my food allergy scares, can be somewhat eliminated. I know this is a food allergy forum, but I wish I had heard about this sooner. So I thought I would post here too to get the word out.
