What is my issue?  I felt like I could feel my uterus growing when I was laying down, it was hard...now I feel like it's not there or has gone soft.  I have an appointment on Thursday with my midwife...just freaked out...

Same here. I'll randomly turn on my back in the middle of the night and my stomach will be hard and then it just seems to disappear. I'm like...Dude, where's my baby?

i'm not a doctor or anything but It sounds like braxton hicks... your uterus will get hard and then soft like that...

Your belly will change. It's not a reason to freak.

Sometimes it is easier to feel your uterus depending on whether or not your bladder is empty or not as well. It for sure isn't a reason to freak out.

It is most likely Braxton Hicks....no need to panic!!

It's Braxton Hicks.  Welcome to practice contractions.  I know, they feel so weird, right?
